Finance Associate - Remote Position at Starknet Foundation

About the Role

Starknet Foundation is seeking a Finance Associate to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Finance Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our organization, ensuring that our financial data is accurate, organized, and reliable. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a pioneering organization focused on advancing the capabilities and adoption of Starknet, a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping to ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Process vendor invoices and maintain organized records for easy retrieval.
• Assist with payroll inputs and expense reimbursements to ensure timely payments.
• Support budgeting and tracking of actuals versus budget to help the organization stay on financial track.
• Work with external accountants and auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
• Help document and improve finance processes for better efficiency.
• Provide general finance and administrative support to the team as needed.

Requirements

• Proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
• Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote work environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Adept with Excel and accounting tools like Xero.
• Interest in crypto and digital assets is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its applications in finance.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the crypto space.
