About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Legal Assistant (Medical Records) to join our dynamic team at Crisp Recruit. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of personal injury claims, allowing you to make a significant impact in the legal field. As a Remote Legal Assistant (Medical Records), you will work closely with our case managers and clients, providing essential support and enhancing our commitment to outstanding client service.

What You'll Do

• Establish and maintain insurance claims efficiently.
• Request, track, and acquire medical records and bills from various providers.
• Verify balances owed to medical providers to ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare and dispatch subrogation requests promptly.
• Provide written treatment-status updates to clients, ensuring clear communication.
• Collaborate closely with in-house case managers to streamline processes.
• Report directly to the firm’s Case Managers, maintaining open lines of communication.
• Utilize SmartAdvocate CRM and Microsoft 365 to manage documentation and workflows effectively.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in personal injury matters.
• Proficiency in legal CRMs, preferably SmartAdvocate.
• Must have a Windows-based computer for operational tasks.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proactive and detail-oriented work style to manage tasks efficiently.
• Full-time availability for U.S. hours to align with our operational needs.
