Remote Full-Charge Bookkeeper - Flexible Hours

About the Role

CMC Berkshires is seeking a Remote Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial for managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across our multi-entity organization. As a Remote Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you will work approximately 30 hours per week, providing essential support in transactional accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

What You'll Do

• Manage all aspects of transactional accounting for three CMC entities.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable with precision.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist in annual filings and tax preparations.
• Provide ongoing accounting support and serve as a key contact for accounting inquiries.
• Work independently while maintaining a collaborative environment.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop, along with BILL.com, to manage financial data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop is essential.
• Experience with BILL.com is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with 1099 preparation and tax filings.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
