As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll play a crucial role in developing backend services for a high-traffic booking platform, ensuring quality and efficiency in our software solutions. What You'll Do

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Symfony.
• Build and extend GraphQL APIs for internal and public consumption.
• Drive database schema design and performance tuning using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Build efficient, secure, and scalable systems to support high traffic.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers working in React to integrate services.
• Integrate workflow automation logic, utilizing tools like n8n.
• Participate in architecture and technical decision-making processes.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including Dockerization, CI/CD, and deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in PHP and Symfony frameworks.
• Proven experience with GraphQL API design.
• Solid understanding of SQL with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and containerized workflows.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms, such as n8n.
• Comfortable integrating backend services with modern frontend frameworks like React.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
