Remote Accounting Manager - Join a Mission-Driven Team

As a Remote Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting function while driving improvements in our systems and processes. What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day accounting requirements while leading initiatives to improve financial reporting systems.
• Enhance sales tax reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support data integrations across multiple accounting systems to drive efficient accounting closes.
• Engage with external auditors and maintain robust internal controls.
• Design, implement, and maintain NetSuite workflows, tables, billing schedules, and revenue recognition rules.
• Collaborate with consultants and team members to implement SOX 404A documentation effectively.
• Provide solutions for complex accounting scenarios, including multi-entity billing.
• Lead automation initiatives to minimize manual work and reduce error risks.
• Drive change management for new accounting features and integrations.
• Build trust with stakeholders to maximize growth and foster a positive working environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of high-growth accounting experience, preferably in medical device companies.
• Strong expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition and US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience as a NetSuite power user or administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with FDA regulations and HCP reporting requirements is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with structured data.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in U.S. taxes, including Federal and multistate income taxes.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills.
• A growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
