About the Role

Inkitt is seeking a Remote Community Manager to join our innovative team, focused on creating the next generation of entertainment through AI. As a Remote Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in engaging our vibrant community of readers and authors, driving participation and growth initiatives that align with our strategic vision.

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute community engagement initiatives that foster participation and retention.
  • Grow in-app community membership and enhance participation in book discussions.
  • Develop strategies to build anticipation for upcoming stories and spark conversations.
  • Organize virtual events such as author interviews and book club meetings to keep the community engaged.
  • Coordinate with community moderators to ensure campaign alignment and effective execution.
  • Monitor engagement metrics to refine community strategies and initiatives continuously.
  • Act as a brand representative in community spaces, building trust and familiarity with members.
  • Recruit and activate community super users to enhance engagement.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, community management, or social media.
  • A passion for books and a deep understanding of bookish communities.
  • Creative, strategic, and analytical mindset for crafting compelling initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work autonomously and bring solutions to challenges.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and community engagement platforms.
  • Previous experience in organizing virtual events.
