About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Backend Developer to join our innovative team. As a Remote Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions that power our applications. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Golang, AWS, and event-driven architectures to create robust APIs and cloud-based systems.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop backend services using Golang and AWS.
• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and integration.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all development processes.
• Document technical specifications and maintain project documentation in Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Golang.
• Strong understanding of API design and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of databases and data governance principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript and PHP.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management frameworks.
