About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Java to join our dynamic team on a fully remote, contract basis. This role involves working on cutting-edge mobile applications for well-known brands, focusing on developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly Android platforms. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Integrate third-party services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging and Android Pay.
• Work with GraphQL and RESTful APIs to fetch and send data efficiently.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal app performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile development.
• Contribute to technical documentation and participate in agile development cycles.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java is essential.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs is required.
• Familiarity with React Native for cross-platform development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Android Pay, and JitPack will be advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with agile methodologies.
