About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Finance Associate - Remote to join our innovative team at tem. This role is critical in building robust financial systems and improving our reporting infrastructure to support our growth.

What You'll Do

• Own and update the financial model monthly, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Drive KPI clarity and provide business insights through comprehensive data analysis.
• Lead high-impact ad hoc analysis for senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with various teams to refine forecasts and enhance reporting.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
• Improve the structure and transparency of the financial model.
• Ensure timely and actionable analysis for effective decision-making.
• Utilize BI platforms for data visualization to communicate findings effectively.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to foster collaboration and support.
• Contribute to the company's growth through insightful financial analysis.

Requirements

• Exceptional analytical ability with a strong focus on financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining financial models.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• High degree of independence and ownership in work.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to facilitate collaboration.
• 3+ years of post-qualification experience in finance or related fields.
• Experience analyzing revenue drivers and unit economics.
• Comfort with complex data sets and financial analysis.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the energy sector or renewable energy finance.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
