Remote Account Executive - Cybersecurity Solutions
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Remote Account Executive to join our dynamic team at GuidePoint Security. In this role, you will leverage your sales expertise to deliver cybersecurity solutions to organizations worldwide. As a Remote Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in helping clients make informed decisions to minimize risk and enhance their security posture.
What You'll Do
- Proactively network, cold call, and engage with multiple contacts within organizations, including C-level executives.
- Manage and develop strong relationships with customers, providing a consultative sales approach to meet their cybersecurity needs.
- Consistently meet sales and profitability goals while positioning, configuring, and quoting product and service solutions to clients.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage leads and opportunities effectively.
- Participate in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, and OWASP to stay updated on cybersecurity trends.
- Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with GuidePoint Security vendors to understand their technologies and articulate their value propositions to clients.
- Engage in field marketing activities to generate interest and drive attendance to events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and the ability to communicate their benefits effectively.
- Experience with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to travel regionally as required.

- Previous experience working with Fortune 500 companies or government agencies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
