Project Director - Remote Position

About the Role

We're hiring a Project Director to lead our remote teams at Lantana Consulting Group. This role is pivotal in providing executive-level program and project leadership for a federal-government contract, ensuring high-quality outcomes in health information exchange.

What You'll Do

• Provide executive-level program and project leadership for a federal-government contract.
• Direct and oversee project teams, task leads, and project managers.
• Maintain responsibility for administrative and fiscal management of the project.
• Oversee the design and execution of complex healthcare data analysis.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes.
• Coordinate the work of project managers, task leads, analysts, and subcontractors.
• Manage multiple priorities and project activities effectively.
• Identify and manage project risks while developing mitigation strategies.
• Guide analytic teams in the interpretation and application of Medicare data.
• Mentor and support project managers and task leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of project or program management experience.
• Experience managing mid- to large-scale federal government contracts.
• Experience with administrative and fiscal management.
• Extensive experience overseeing complex healthcare data-analysis projects.
• At least five years of experience with Medicare programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage cost, scope, schedule, quality, and technical performance.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with health information technology standards.
• Certification in project management (PMP, etc.).
