Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote (Azure Cloud)

About the Role

First Advantage is seeking a talented Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote to join our team. In this role, you will focus on building and optimizing AI-driven solutions and data pipelines in Azure Cloud, contributing to our mission of helping organizations make informed hiring decisions.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable Azure cloud-based solutions.
• Govern and maintain SaaS environments across Azure subscriptions.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to establish cloud security policies.
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployments using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and effectively resolve cloud-related issues.
• Work closely with engineering teams for seamless integration of solutions.
• Manage Azure resources to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Assist in developing enterprise cloud standards and documentation.
• Contribute to a technology transformation at First Advantage.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong expertise in C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash for automation.
• Experience with IaC using Bicep, ARM Templates, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Extensive experience with core Azure services.
• Knowledge of Azure security and governance tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud cost management tools.
• Certifications in Azure or related technologies.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
