Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Operations (Remote Options)

About the Role

Cadrex is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations. This Production Supervisor remote position involves supervising, directing, and motivating employees to achieve our company goals in quality, production, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed department and company goals of quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Manage department performance measures and visual controls to ensure optimal operations.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results across all areas.
• Continuously improve processes and present ideas for enhancement clearly in both oral and written forms.
• Ensure that employees adhere to schedules and customer service requirements while working closely with Quality Assurance.
• Identify, analyze, and correct bottlenecks, product defect rates, safety hazards, and equipment issues.
• Provide on-the-floor training to new employees and work closely with floor leads and setup personnel.
• Manage department priorities and create production schedules as necessary.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and writing routine reports.
• Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
• Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Inventory, and Manufacturing software.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
