Production Planner III - Remote Opportunity

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, where you'll be responsible for the timely processing of machine worksheets and converting them into production orders. What You'll Do

• Ensure the production process goes smoothly by making sure all of the appropriate parts are in place and ready to go.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production of the company’s products.
• Report on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
• Handle production disruptions and productivity problems.
• Find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Create and maintain production schedules, considering lead times, production capacities, and resource constraints.
• Provide assistance on other departmental tasks whenever required.
• Closely liaise with the staff of the logistics department and production team to establish an efficient order control and effective customer service process.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in the production planning and scheduling field.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP tools is required.
• Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of production forecasting, capacity planning, and production cost control.
• Sharing of knowledge and information on a functional level to maintain an efficient logistics workforce.
