Product Ops Manager - Remote Role at Primer

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Ops Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team at Primer. As a leader in unified payment infrastructure, Primer empowers businesses globally to optimize their payment processes. This role is pivotal in enhancing our operational capabilities, ensuring seamless payment solutions for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Independently diagnose and solve complex operational problems by synthesizing delivery data, team feedback, and product context.
• Own a defined operating remit that persists across quarters, such as planning cadence, delivery metrics, decision forums, or tooling strategy.
• Design scalable systems and processes that reduce toil and unlock leverage for the product team.
• Lead multiple high-impact operational initiatives with measurable improvements to team velocity and decision speed.
• Plan and deliver operating initiatives end-to-end, maintaining a 3 to 6 month view.
• Orchestrate several concurrent initiatives across multiple sub-areas, making real-time trade-offs to hit critical deadlines.
• Design and implement new processes that improve execution consistency or velocity.

Requirements

• Strong experience in operational management within a tech or product environment.
• Proven ability to evaluate and implement new tools independently.
• Strong data fluency to build analytical models that surface insights and leading indicators.
• Ability to influence product priorities through data-driven insights.
• Experience in designing operating systems that teams rely on.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across functions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in FinTech or payment processing environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Background in software development or engineering.
