We’re hiring a Product Operations Manager to join Monzo in a fully remote role. As a Product Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our card payments offering, ensuring operational excellence for our ‘hot coral’ cards. Your work will directly impact millions of users globally, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of making money work for everyone.

What You'll Do

• Strategically own, design, and automate end-to-end operational processes for the Cards Group, ensuring reliable and scalable card payments.
• Lead our authorisation and authentication strategy, resolving critical merchant acceptance issues.
• Utilise a data-driven approach to analyse customer problems and process inefficiencies, proposing solutions that enhance customer outcomes.
• Partner closely with Customer Operations to optimise support and streamline internal processes, acting as the voice of the customer.
• Develop systems, practices, and tools required to maintain operational excellence.
• Continuously monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform and optimise our authorisation decisioning and customer communications.

Requirements

• Experience working within operations, banking, or with card issuers/acquirers.
• Solid experience within a card payments ecosystem.
• Ability to build and scale complex operational systems.
• Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfortable working with engineering teams and technical systems.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
