What You'll Do

• Own foundational platform improvements, spec and ship changes to core workflows that enhance user configuration and testing.
• Identify misconfigurations and build validation and guardrails to prevent user errors.
• Lead the evolution of core abstractions, understanding their downstream impact across multiple system layers.
• Make data accessible, ensuring users can easily navigate and understand their results.
• Navigate cross-team changes, understanding the blast radius and negotiating tradeoffs effectively.
• Write technical specifications that engineers respect, demonstrating an understanding of technical constraints.

Requirements

• Experience shipping product changes that require coordination across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Background in products where misconfiguration has real consequences, such as security tools or cloud services.
• Experience influencing architectural decisions as a PM, with a solid understanding of system boundaries and data flow.
• Proven ability to design configuration flows that reduce user confusion and support load.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, owning problems end-to-end.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of security domain concepts.
• Experience with GitHub and related tools.
• Strong UX instincts backed by engineering fluency.
