Produce Supervisor - Full-Time Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Produce Supervisor remote to join our team at Sobeys. This role is crucial in ensuring a superior customer service experience by coaching and developing friendly, well-trained staff. As a Produce Supervisor remote, you will supervise the department and staff, acting as the go-to person in the absence of the Department Manager and Assistant. What You'll Do

• Ensure a clean and presentable work area at all times.
• Stay current with weekly and in-store specials.
• Ensure accurate labeling of products through adherence to company pricing strategies.
• Foster a shopping experience that engages customers, enhancing loyalty, sales, and profit.
• Run, monitor, and analyze sales data reports.
• Monitor compliance with SOP, OH&S, food safety, and other corporate initiatives.
• Lead the department in accordance with company presentation standards.
• Recruit, train, develop, motivate, and coach employees, providing regular feedback.

Requirements

• Full knowledge of department operations and skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the grocery or produce industry.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations.
