About the Role

Join Blink UX as a Principal Conversation Designer, a pivotal role that allows you to shape the future of AI-driven interactions in a remote capacity. As a Principal Conversation Designer, you will lead the conversation design strategy for AI and automated experiences, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and user-centric.

What You'll Do

  • Drive conversation design strategy for AI and automated experiences, ensuring alignment with brand voice and tone.
  • Define and evolve voice, tone, and personality guidelines that resonate with users.
  • Leverage research, analytics, and usability insights to optimize conversational journeys.
  • Create scalable frameworks and reusable patterns across platforms to enhance user experience.
  • Design dialogue flows, scripts, and interaction models for chatbots and virtual assistants.
  • Ensure clarity, inclusivity, accessibility, and customer-first language standards in all designs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Research, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality conversational experiences.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to align on user needs and business goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or conversational design.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in AI conversation or UX content design.
  • Deep understanding of human-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
  • Familiarity with designing for GenAI, LLMs, or AI-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and conversation modeling is preferred.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring or coaching designers, is a plus.

  • Experience in UX research and analytics interpretation.
  • Strong skills in conversation flow mapping and dialogue scripting.
