Payroll & Finance Analyst - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll & Finance Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will manage payroll processing across our UK and European locations while supporting the financial operations team with data processing. As a Payroll & Finance Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for all payroll-related queries, ensuring accurate administration for the smooth running of our payroll function.
What You'll Do
- Oversee global payroll processing for over 250 employees.
- Maintain an accurate payroll processing system by collating, checking, calculating, and preparing payroll input data, including joiners, leavers, and changes for existing employees.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies in payroll reports promptly.
- Support the integration of HR and Payroll software.
- Conduct data processing, audits, and reporting.
- Check payroll reports produced by external providers before submission and approval for payment.
- Present monthly payroll changes and estimates for Senior Management approval.
- Handle pension administration duties for the UK, Hungary, Denmark, and partially for Spain, Poland, and the Netherlands.
- Assist the O2C and P2P Manager with various tasks during the payroll cycle.
- Process employee T&E claims and manage supplier master data.
- Support pay cycle and supplier invoicing processing.
- Prepare month-end payroll journal and reconciliation for finance close, along with payroll reporting for management metrics.
- Upload the net pay file for the UK into online banking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR and other departments.
- Proactively manage all payroll-related queries, resolving or escalating them as necessary.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of payroll practices with experience in payroll processing, preferably with exposure to both UK and International payroll.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate important payroll deadlines.
- Prior experience in data processing within finance systems.
- Experience in an international group is desirable.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Comfortable dealing with international HR and payroll providers.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with sensitivity and integrity.
- Fluent in English with excellent oral and written skills; additional European language capabilities are a plus.

Who Will Succeed Here
