What You'll Do
- Operate buses and passenger vans safely while adhering to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and local traffic laws.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times.
- Assist guests with boarding and provide a warm welcome as they enter the vehicle.
- Communicate safety information and other relevant details to guests using a microphone.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with Department of Transportation Physical Standards.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Minimum of 5 years of licensed driving experience, with at least 3 years in the United States.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be available for the first 8-12 weeks of training and flexible in scheduling.
- Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
Nice to Have
- Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
- Previous experience as a bus driver.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
