About the Role

Join the Walt Disney World Resort as a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests as they travel throughout our parks and resorts. As a Transportation Bus Driver, you will operate vehicles, including buses and passenger vans, while adhering to all safety regulations. What You'll Do

• Safely operate buses and passenger vans, ensuring the safety of guests during transit.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at all times.
• Communicate effectively with guests and Dispatch Operators, providing safety information and assistance.
• Assist guests with boarding, including operating accessibility lifts and securing wheelchairs.
• Handle emergency situations with professionalism and care.
• Memorize and navigate various routes within the Walt Disney World Resort.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests.
• Follow all state and federal motor vehicle regulations and Department of Transportation standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age due to licensed driving requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years of current valid licensed operating experience, with at least 3 years in the United States.
• Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License to begin the CDL process.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
• Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
• Must be fully available for the first 8-12 weeks after the start date.
• Willingness to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and twist while securing guests for safe rides.

Nice to Have

• Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
• Previous experience as a bus driver or in a related field.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
