About the Role

Join the Walt Disney World Resort as a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests as they travel throughout our parks and resorts. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values safety and guest experience. As a Transportation Bus Driver, you will operate vehicles, including buses and passenger vans, while adhering to all safety regulations. What You'll Do

  • Safely operate buses and passenger vans, ensuring the safety of guests during transit.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and Dispatch Operators, providing safety information and assistance.
  • Assist guests with boarding, including operating accessibility lifts and securing wheelchairs.
  • Handle emergency situations with professionalism and care.
  • Memorize and navigate various routes within the Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests.
  • Follow all state and federal motor vehicle regulations and Department of Transportation standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to licensed driving requirements.
  • Minimum of 5 years of current valid licensed operating experience, with at least 3 years in the United States.
  • Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License to begin the CDL process.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
  • Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
  • Must be fully available for the first 8-12 weeks after the start date.
  • Willingness to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and twist while securing guests for safe rides.

Nice to Have

  • Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Previous experience as a bus driver or in a related field.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
