About the Role

Join our team as a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver at Walt Disney World! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests as they travel throughout our parks and resorts. As a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver, you will need to be positive, careful, and passionate about maintaining the safety of our guests.

What You'll Do

  • Operate buses and passenger vans safely while adhering to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and local traffic laws.
  • Maintain a valid Florida Driver's License and complete training to acquire a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if hired.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at all times.
  • Assist guests with boarding and provide information over a microphone regarding safety and other relevant details.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Handle emergency situations with ownership and professionalism.
  • Work various shifts, including weekends, to meet operational needs.
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatch Operators and guests in both verbal and written English.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of licensed operating experience, with the last three years in the United States.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to licensed driving requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation Physical Standards and Regulations.

Nice to Have

  • Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Related bus driver experience.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
