Operational Excellence Specialist - Remote People Ops

About the Role

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our People Ops team remotely. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and documenting our People Operations processes. This position is vital for ensuring our team operates efficiently and effectively, supporting our mission to unlock global opportunities for every person and business.

What You'll Do

• Lead process optimization initiatives, identifying inefficiencies in People Ops workflows such as hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process guides, and documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new processes and automation workflows, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Establish metrics to monitor process performance and recommend enhancements based on data-driven insights.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing across teams to ensure alignment in People Ops processes.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in People Operations, Process Improvement, or related fields.
• Proven track record in process analysis, optimization, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or BambooHR.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive process improvements.
• Proficiency with knowledge management tools like Confluence or Notion.

Nice to Have

• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience managing knowledge bases or documentation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
