Mid-Senior SDET (Java + Selenium + AWS) - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As an SDET (Java + Selenium + AWS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of scalable test frameworks.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Build and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman.
• Validate data using SQL queries to ensure data integrity across systems.
• Work with AWS cloud services to support testing in cloud-based environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into build processes.
• Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure test coverage, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with API testing (REST APIs, JSON, Postman, REST Assured).
• Solid knowledge of SQL for backend/data validation.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Understanding of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
