Mid-Senior Reporting Engineer - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Reporting Engineer to join our dynamic team. This Reporting Engineer remote position will allow you to transform raw simulation results into valuable insights that our customers rely on. What You'll Do

• Design and build the reporting backend that transforms simulation results into structured, customer-ready deliverables, including executive summaries and strategic insights.
• Develop the analysis layer that extracts statistically grounded insights from simulation data, identifying significant relationships and actionable takeaways.
• Build a flexible system where any simulation output can be made reportable, enabling the team to ship new report types efficiently.
• Optimize query performance against analytical databases to deliver real-time insights on large simulation datasets.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to create engaging digital results experiences, including highlights and data/results pages.
• Work with the deployment team to ensure reports meet customer-specific formatting and focus requirements.

Requirements

• Experience building data-intensive applications that present complex analytical results to non-technical users.
• Proficiency with analytical databases and the ability to write performant queries against large datasets.
• Strong full-stack skills, comfortable working across backend data pipelines and frontend presentation layers.
• Deep understanding of statistical concepts, including significance and confidence intervals.
• Experience with systems that generate dynamic, structured content from raw data.

Nice to Have

• Experience with columnar analytical databases (e.g., ClickHouse, DuckDB).
• Familiarity with LLM-powered content generation pipelines.
• Background in customer-facing analytics or business intelligence products.
• Experience with data visualization libraries and building interactive report UIs.
