Mid-Senior Project Manager - Collection Relocation
About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Senior Project Manager for Collection Relocation to join the Art Institute of Chicago. This role is crucial in overseeing the relocation of art objects from our museum campus to off-site storage facilities. As a Project Manager for Collection Relocation, you will ensure the safe and efficient transfer of valuable artworks while maintaining minimal disruption to daily museum operations.
What You'll Do
- Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, update timelines, and prepare reports to highlight issues and solutions.
- Act as the central coordinator for the relocation team, ensuring all activities are aligned and executed smoothly.
- Guide and manage a temporary relocation team, setting clear goals and evaluating performance.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in project management or logistics, preferably within the art sector.
