About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Mindsoft Solutions. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days a week in our Okemos or Farmington Hills office, transitioning to four days a week starting summer 2026. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our QA and testing capabilities, ensuring optimal performance across applications and systems.

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute performance testing strategies using JMeter to create complex test scripts and scenarios.
  • Utilize Dynatrace or similar APM tools for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
  • Manage and optimize performance in Kubernetes environments, ensuring efficient use of cluster resources.
  • Integrate CI/CD tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins to maintain and enhance test suites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to resolve complex problems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations for performance improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Seven years of experience in applications and systems performance testing.
  • Five years of experience in application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with JMeter.
  • Proficiency in Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of DB/SQL/Linux.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages.
