About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior Data Warehouse and Power BI Developer to join our team in a hybrid role. This position allows you to work remotely while also requiring some onsite presence in Brussels, Belgium. As a Data Warehouse and Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions that support data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that enhance data visualization and user experience.
  • Build and manage scalable data pipelines and queries to extract and transform data from Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data requirements and ensure high-quality data is presented in Power BI reports.
  • Implement access control mechanisms for Power BI reports, ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot Power BI datasets and reports, focusing on performance tuning and data integrity.
  • Document end-to-end technical solutions, including data architecture and security configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the Azure ecosystem, specifically with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Row-Level Security.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced SQL, data modeling, and data governance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power BI solutions effectively.
  • Familiarity with version control best practices.
  • Excellent documentation skills and effective communication abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
