Mid-Senior Calypso Platform Developer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Calypso Platform Developer remote to join our dynamic team at Neurones IT Asia. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements on the Calypso platform, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional financial solutions. As a Calypso Platform Developer remote, you will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop customizations and enhancements on the Calypso platform.
• Write clean, maintainable Java code following development best practices and coding standards.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional needs and propose technical solutions.
• Perform code analysis, implement enhancements, and propose code adjustments and optimizations.
• Develop and deliver new features and enhancements for the Calypso platform.
• Coordinate with teams on development deliverables and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, specifically in Calypso platform development and support.
• Strong proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, and Linux for Calypso development.
• Good knowledge of UNIX platforms and database management systems (SQL, Oracle, Sybase, BigData).
• Experience with automation frameworks and libraries.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with international teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Calypso version 16+ is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
