Mid-Level UI Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Level UI Designer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Mid-Level UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces across various web and mobile products. This role offers you the opportunity to work on exciting projects while collaborating with a talented team of UX designers, product managers, and engineers.

What You'll Do

• Design high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create mockups, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and UI components to ensure consistency across all digital products.
• Translate UX requirements into polished UI designs that enhance usability and accessibility.
• Optimize designs for responsiveness and adaptability across various devices.
• Stay up-to-date with UI trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve your design skills.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in UI design or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design work for digital products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Good knowledge of responsive and adaptive design techniques.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.
• Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must have valid work authorization in Ireland or be eligible to work remotely for an Ireland-based company.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in SaaS or product-driven companies.
• Basic understanding of UX principles.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Familiarity with frontend development (HTML/CSS).
• Experience with motion design or micro-interactions.
• Experience collaborating with Agile/Scrum teams.
