What You'll Do

• Develop software using modern web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Implement applications software using server-side programming languages including Python, C++, Node.js, and Go in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Design and develop high-performance services (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) for satellite ground software solutions.
• Utilize the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence, to manage project tasks and documentation.
• Execute software development using Agile methodologies and cloud platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely development and deployment of software solutions.
• Handle diverse assignments efficiently and find unique solutions in a collaborative environment.
• Report progress and challenges to leads and customers, maintaining strong communication.

Requirements

• 2 years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 0 years with a Master's degree.
• Proficiency in modern web development frameworks or libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience developing applications on Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Working knowledge of server-side languages, including Python, C++, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services.
• Basic understanding of asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., NATS, ActiveMQ).
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL database systems for data-driven application development.
• Exposure to Agile principles and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Ability to design scalable database schemas and optimize queries.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting CAMEO/MBSE models.
• Previous exposure to developing Command and Control software for Satellite Ground Systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
