What You'll Do

  • Perform detailed SEO audits and identify priority improvements for clients.

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis for content planning.
  • Guide content teams with brief creation, optimization recommendations, and review.
  • Support or manage Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization.
  • Collaborate with partners/vendors to enhance SEO delivery.
  • Package and present monthly reports with insights and next steps.
  • Track performance using Google Analytics, GSC, Semrush, and other tools.
  • Stay current on SEO best practices, AI/automation tools, and algorithm updates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
  • Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals: on-page, technical, content, local.
  • Experience with Semrush, ScreamingFrog, Google Analytics, and GSC.
  • Ability to write clear, actionable SEO briefs and recommendations.
  • Comfort working directly with clients and explaining SEO in plain language.
  • Excellent task management, prioritization, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with home builder or local service industry SEO.
  • Experience with AI-assisted SEO workflows.
  • Schema markup, Core Web Vitals, or GA4 configuration experience.
  • Understanding of GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI search.
