About the Role

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer - Firmware & Mobile Testing to join our innovative team at Bragi. This remote role offers you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the audio space, focusing on manual testing of firmware and mobile applications. As a key member of our QA team, you will help ensure the highest quality of our products that integrate seamlessly into users' lives.

What You'll Do

  • Define Test Plans covering the Validation & Verification Plan as outlined by the QA Team.
  • Develop Test schedules and Test cases that align with requirements, UX specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Perform manual checks to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Replicate reported bugs and misbehaviors to facilitate troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and user experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar QA role.
  • Strong hardware affinity with experience working with hardware and software in early development stages.
  • Proficient in Firmware and App integration and validation.
  • Understanding of requirements, UX specifications, and industry standards.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, particularly using Jira and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with early prototype devices and development boards.
  • Willingness to learn test automation.
  • Experience validating audio applications.
