Manual QA Engineer - AdTech Focus (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tatari. This Manual QA Engineer remote position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of TV advertising through our innovative AdTech solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality releases across complex advertising workflows, working closely with our Engineering team to validate end-to-end ad delivery.

What You'll Do

• Perform manual testing of web-based advertising platforms.
• Validate the full ad delivery lifecycle: campaign setup, targeting, serving, pacing, attribution, and reporting.
• Test targeting logic, analytics accuracy, optimization workflows, and RTB flows.
• Conduct UI and API testing (REST & GraphQL).
• Use SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and consistency checks.
• Investigate, reproduce, and document complex production issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Validate integrations with third-party partners, tracking systems, and data providers.
• Support regression, smoke, exploratory, and non-functional testing.
• Collaborate on frontend test automation initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA experience in web applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on AdTech experience, specifically with DSP and/or SSP platforms (required).
• Strong understanding of digital advertising workflows, targeting logic, RTB, tracking, and reporting.
• 2+ years of API testing experience (REST, GraphQL; Postman or similar tools).
• Experience writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with performance testing.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations in advertising.
