Lead Civil Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to join our team at GEK TERNA Group. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead significant infrastructure projects while working from anywhere. As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.

What You'll Do

• Conduct research on subcontractor bids and participate in contract drafting and certifications.
• Supervise and coordinate project work, subcontractors, and teams according to schedules.
• Perform market research for materials and assist in preparing cost estimates and technical proposals.
• Review project plans and identify any errors or omissions promptly.
• Coordinate all project activities and resolve technical construction issues.
• Monitor and control project expenditures effectively.
• Schedule maintenance tasks weekly or as needed.
• Record planning and work reports in maintenance software.
• Conduct infrastructure inspections on highways as per company obligations.
• Prepare progress reports for management, providing essential data.
• Communicate with public authorities and third parties.
• Ensure the implementation of Health & Safety procedures in your area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 7 years of prior experience in highway concession projects.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong organizational skills and methodical approach.
• Exceptional communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset.
