Manager of Benefits - Health and Welfare & Retirement (Remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Manager of Benefits - Health and Welfare and Retirement to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our benefits operations during a critical period of transition. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently. As a Manager of Benefits remote, you will be responsible for ensuring that our benefits administration runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and resolve escalated benefits cases from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
- Troubleshoot and monitor system issues such as file feed errors, calculation discrepancies, and data mismatches.
- Collaborate on the implementation of new systems, including Bswift and Workday, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Prepare and execute Open Enrollment activities, aligning with the start of the plan year in August.
- Extract and manipulate data from PeopleSoft using Excel to support manual processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to facilitate onboarding for approximately 35,000 seasonal employees.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track issues to improve processes and ensure resolution.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefits data integration across systems.
- Assist in compliance monitoring and support vendor efforts to adhere to applicable regulations.
- Develop and update internal process documentation and standard operating procedures for recurring tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in benefits administration and analysis.
- Strong technical proficiency with systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, and Bswift.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective collaboration and communication abilities with vendors and internal teams.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements related to benefits and 401(k) regulations.
- Experience coordinating large-scale onboarding or enrollment processes.

- Certification in benefits administration or HR management.
