Machine Learning Engineer - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Arrive Logistics. This Machine Learning Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the growth of our ML platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML systems and infrastructure using Python, Postgres, and Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate closely with other Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Own systems throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Maintain and improve performance of existing data systems while ensuring quality and maintainability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support incidents and service behavior inquiries.
• Proactively propose solutions to gaps in process, technology, and software design.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold team standards and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience with ML ops, model serving, and optimization.
• 3+ years of experience with Python and building scalable backend services.
• Experience with frameworks like Sklearn, Pandas, and Numpy; familiarity with Huggingface, Tensorflow, or Pytorch is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex ML concepts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for building high-impact ML and data-driven products.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing cloud-native applications in Kubernetes.
• Understanding of traditional machine learning and deep neural networks.
• Experience with online experimentation platforms like Statsig.
