About the Role

Join the Energy at Freedom Leisure as a Lifeguard - Full Time at the Marina Centre! This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to improving lives through leisure. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure the safety and enjoyment of our customers while providing excellent service in a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all patrons.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly atmosphere.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of facilities, including the leisure pool and fitness suite.
• Assist in training and coaching new staff and lifeguards.
• Engage with customers of all ages and abilities, fostering a positive experience.
• Complete swim tests and maintain NPLQ qualifications.
• Work flexible hours on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent is required.
• Enhanced DBS check must be completed.
• Competent swimmer; swim test will be part of the interview process.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Demonstrated passion for the leisure industry.
• Flexibility to follow instructions from managers.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• First aid certification.
• Experience working in a leisure or recreational environment.
