About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer in Information Technology to join RMIT University Vietnam. As a Lecturer, you will engage with students in undergraduate and graduate programs, focusing on areas such as AI, Data Science, and Programming.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality teaching in undergraduate courses related to Information Technology.
• Develop and enhance course materials, including lectures, labs, and assessments.
• Provide support and mentorship to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Engage in research activities and maintain scholarly capabilities in your field of expertise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote the program and establish partnerships with industry and academic communities.
• Participate in course coordination and administration duties as required.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in English-speaking universities.
• Proven proficiency in teaching and curriculum development in AI, Data Science, and Programming (C/C++).
• Ability to prepare and deliver programs at the undergraduate level, including online delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.
• Demonstrated research profile with a record of publications in high-quality journals.

Nice to Have

• Experience in course coordination and administration.
• Familiarity with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to negotiate sensitively with students on learning-related issues.
