Lead/​Senior Software Developer - Remote Mainapp Platform Team

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead/Senior Software Developer to join our Mainapp Platform Team at Crypto.com. This remote role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for various projects that are essential to our core business. As a Lead/Senior Software Developer, you will be instrumental in creating scalable applications that can serve over 100 million active users globally.

What You'll Do

• Take full ownership of product development from planning to delivery as a Lead/Senior Software Developer.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Backend, Frontend, and QA developers.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and testing methodologies.
• Encourage innovation in application development and workflow automation tools.
• Continuously evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
• Support existing applications by fixing bugs and addressing customer issues.
• Establish root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns to internal engineers.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of experience in server-side programming languages.
• At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails or a similar web MVC framework.
• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical team members.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively.
• Willingness to embrace feedback and drive changes within the team.
• Knowledge of scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools, including AWS products.

Nice to Have

• Experience with domain-driven microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of zero downtime CI/CD principles.
• Familiarity with third-party monitoring platforms like Datadog or AWS Cloudwatch.
• Experience with Go programming language.
