Key Account Representative - Remote Role at Mattel

About the Role

We are seeking a Key Account Representative - Remote to join our dynamic team at Mattel. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Balkans sales team, executing our Grocery sales and activation strategy in Romania. Your work will directly impact our key retail partners, enhancing the consumer shopping experience across our brand portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Balkans channel lead to develop and execute the Grocery channel strategy with excellence.
• Utilize market knowledge to create an insight-led strategy in partnership with Marketing and Digital teams.
• Analyze consumption models to monitor Sell Out performance and tailor commercial activities to customer needs.
• Develop relevant Retail listings and activation plans based on shopper insights and brand opportunities.
• Lead the forecasting process for Grocery, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to secure delivery.
• Monitor commercial KPIs, including operations effectiveness, cost to serve, and profitability.
• Negotiate settlements of outstanding debts with customers as needed.
• Identify new business opportunities for Mattel based on insights and optimize product range.

Requirements

• Qualified in Commerce, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of shopper insights and their application in driving sales.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic commercial plans.
• Fluent in Romanian and English.
