We are seeking a skilled Kafka & Linux System Administrator remote to support and manage enterprise-scale messaging and middleware environments. What You'll Do

  • Administer and support Apache Kafka clusters including Broker, Zookeeper, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and KSQL.

  • Provide middleware and production support for distributed systems.
  • Support application configuration and deployments effectively.
  • Automate tasks using Ansible scripting to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability across all platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Kafka Administration.
  • Strong expertise in Linux/Unix environments, preferably RHEL.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka ecosystem components.
  • Experience with environment setup and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in Ansible and automation scripting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Shell scripting experience (Bash).
