Junior Search Engine Reputational Manager (Remote)

About the Role

Join Medier as a Junior Search Engine Reputational Manager (SERM) and help shape our clients' online presence. This remote position is perfect for those passionate about SEO and brand reputation management. You'll play a crucial role in monitoring and enhancing our clients' digital reputations through effective SEO strategies.

What You'll Do

• Monitor search results and track brand mentions to ensure a positive online presence.
• Suppress negative content and promote positive narratives through data-driven SEO strategies.
• Analyze SERPs and identify competitor strategies to enhance our clients' reputations.
• Utilize SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to manage online reputations effectively.
• File complaints in Google Ads against competitors for trademark infringement or unfair advertising.
• Coordinate with webmasters and platforms to remove or update misleading information.
• Prepare regular reports on reputation KPIs and the effectiveness of brand protection efforts.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to foster a culture of creativity and innovation.

Requirements

• 6+ months of hands-on experience in SEO and SERM.
• Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken) and fluent Ukrainian or Russian.
• Foundational knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO and its application in reputation management.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Basic understanding of PPC (Google Ads) to identify and mitigate unwanted advertisements.
• Technical ability to identify hosting providers and domain registrars for official Abuse Reports.

Nice to Have

• Experience in filing complaints for Trademark violations and Copyright infringement (DMCA).
• Understanding of Brand Protection processes.
