Junior QA Engineer - Remote Position at WhiteTech

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team at WhiteTech. What You'll Do

• Analyze requirements and write detailed test cases for our products.
• Reproduce problems and describe them in detailed bug reports.
• Communicate issues to project managers or senior specialists and coordinate efforts until issues are resolved.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, integration, and requirements testing.
• Conduct manual testing including web (using DevTool), API (using Postman), and backend testing.
• Perform calculations for simple cases using math, testing various payment methods and checkout processes.
• Work with databases and SQL to track all project corrections.
• Collaborate closely with development, design, and product management teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Analytical mind with the ability to work well with numbers and calculations.
• Web testing experience of 1.5 years or more.
• API testing experience of 1.5 years or more.
• Experience working with Postman and DevTool.
• Ability to make simple SQL queries.
• Experience with payment systems and payment methods.
• Proficient in writing detailed test cases and working with any TMT.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and client-server architecture.
• Proven analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and product orientation.
• Strong communication skills and an intermediate level of English.
• A proactive and achievement-oriented approach to work.
