Junior Project Manager - Change Projects (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our project management team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and implementing change projects within our product and system environment. What You'll Do
- Plan, manage, and execute change projects of significant scope, including product adaptations and variants.
- Onboard and coordinate ODM business, particularly managing product integrations with external partners.
- Align technical and organizational requirements with internal departments such as development, procurement, quality, and sales.
- Coordinate external partners and suppliers within ODM projects.
- Track timelines, costs, and progress, including status reporting and project documentation.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure transparent communication across teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes and standards in the change and ODM environment.
Requirements
- Completed technical training with further education as a technician, a degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Some experience in project work, ideally in an industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (traditional/agile) – practical experience is welcomed.
- Technical understanding of products, assemblies, and change processes.
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various interfaces.
- Very good German and good English skills.
- A project management certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and standards.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
