About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior Network Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote position based in Germany. As a Junior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are passionate about troubleshooting network issues and improving performance in a remote-first environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, configure, and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely, effective resolutions.
  • Ensure best practices in network security, compliance, and redundancy.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams on network-related projects.
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
  • Support network-related aspects of IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 0–4+ years of relevant experience in network administration, network engineering, or related IT roles.
  • Solid knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured working style.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
  • Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Based in Germany with legal authorization to work full-time.
