Data Scientist - AI & Machine Learning Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at TalkTalk. As a Data Scientist, you'll work remotely and in a hybrid setup, focusing on AI and machine learning to solve complex business problems. This role is crucial for developing, testing, deploying, and implementing data products that deliver real business value.

What You'll Do

• Apply your expertise in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning to create data-driven solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy data products using industry best practices in MLOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business analysts, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, emphasizing the business impact of your work.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in a relevant field such as Data Science, AI, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Proven experience in data science and AI, with a track record of delivering impactful projects.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, and familiarity with tools like GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and MLFlow.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Telecommunications sector.
• Familiarity with platforms like Databricks.
• Knowledge of GenAI technologies.
