Junior Machine Learning Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI/ML team. This Junior Machine Learning Engineer remote position is ideal for entry-level candidates and early-career professionals who want to build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.

What You'll Do

• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Implement supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
• Assist in deploying ML models into production environments.
• Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.
• Work on model validation, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Document ML workflows and ensure reproducibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 0–2 years of experience (internship, research, or academic projects acceptable).
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra.
• Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

• Experience deploying ML models into production.
• Exposure to MLOps best practices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
