IT Technician (Contractor) - Remote Support for Gaming Studio

What You'll Do

• Provide remote support to end users via Slack, email, or video calls.
• Manage Active Directory for user accounts and permissions.
• Provision workstations for new and existing users, including imaging and software deployment.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues related to PCs, printers, and gaming consoles.
• Assist with software deployment and resolve issues with applications like Office 365, Zoom, and Adobe CC.
• Maintain IT assets and inventory management.
• Contribute to IT-related projects and initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with various teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, particularly in a gaming or tech environment.
• Familiarity with video game consoles and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking concepts and practices.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a video game studio.
• Certifications in IT support or networking.
• Experience with remote support tools.
